Sunday 16/10/22 0630 Seaforth, Victor Ck. 120klm ?
Wind forecast as of 13/10/22 for Sunday 16/10/22 is variable 8knots slight strengthen after 1400 for this area. See update for yourself https://www.windy.com/?2022101603,-20.908,150.139,9,m:c43akjI
Some concern that further east wind stronger having ” Wind Fetch ” effect?

If we can meet by 0700 out the back of car park out of the way and get ready to be in around 0730.

Tides are small in variation and so reducing tide speed. Getting out and back in to Victor creek ramp shouldn’t be a issue.

Aeroguard might be an idea before boat ramp unless cold.

Conditions forecast should allow a steady run over to Blacksmith Island mosey around up to the northern end and make for Shaw. Along Shaw there are several sandy bays for stretch, swim and give the drones a run. The question is how long do we stop and how many bays do we stop over at ? Conditions will play a factor and if East as forecast we might spend time on western side although I do know of great bay with long fingered peninsulas on the east worth a look. Western side nice bays but shallower. We could stop off at Phantom Cave on Maher Island. Then running down the west side between Lindeman & Shaw. Or just take it as it comes.
The following run map is a from old trip but very close to this plan.

We are on rising water up until 1541 so no concerns with getting stranded. Some Bays may not have enough water to get into to start with ?

Avoiding this Bennett Rock area.

ETA back at ramp 1400-1500 tide will be rising.

NOTE This is just a draft of a plan of ideas which DO change with conditions and circumstances including others ideas. Research that is fundamental in the planning may not be complete or exact so don’t just rely on me. I would love to hear that something needs correction.
NOTE this is not a bucket list item. Have done before.
