Sunday 30th October 2022 200klm round trip 100ltr fuel on board a range of 240+klms. Planned route passing through Goldsmith & Linne Islands, then Dead Dog off Thomas Island, up past Shaw and in between Triangle, Comston and Mansell Islands, past Jesuit Pt off of Maher Island, then too the bottom of Haselwood and sneak through the gap between Teague Island into Solway Passage along Whitehaven beach to Hill Inlet
All the forecast as of Friday 28th PM for Sunday 30th Oct. Outgoing route with red indicating tide flow and there is wind direction and speed forecast.

Falling tide is with us on the run up and slight breeze with tide could glass out. Up until around 0730 when the tide will turn. Will have the last bit against tide

Assuming we get away for 0500 and have fair run we should be there by 9, after the bottom of the tide. Probably to low to go into Hill Inlet ? Not sure we need to add risk to trip ?
Swell forecast is 0.1-0.2M generally it is taken that under 0.5M is good. This is a area I would like more info on and more experience. The above rule of thumb has done well enough so far.
Rain forecast is often a factor I tend to forget until the last minute but not so on lengthy trip. No rain forecast or cloud for that matter.
Thunderstorms forecast is promising and is a bonus considering the thunder as I write this.
Wind forecast for run home is ok 6knots east. Will go straight through Solway Passage down the east side of Lindeman between Shaw and through Anchor Isles back to Harbour. Tide runs with us with all the way.

I will go and see VMR the day before and lodge a Trip Log sheet that I will confirm activation via radio once they are on deck.
